About the Job: 

InDev is seeking a Program Director. This position is based in Bangalore, India. 

S/he will report to the VP - Solutions Consulting of the organization. S/he will program manage the projects and initiatives being implemented by InDev and / or InDev's client organisations across livelihoods, financial inclusion, healthcare, energy and education sectors. S/he will develop and manage the relationships with the diverse stakeholders involved to ensure the long term sustainability of the solutions implemented by InDev. S/he will define and implement the strategy and business model for the client organisations, and drive the successful delivery of the engagements. 

S/he will lead the planning and forecasting for InDev's client engagements. 
S/he will do business development and enable acquisition of new clients and engagement wins for InDev. S/he will lead the implementation of the project activities and provide leadership to the team members in achieving the project objectives. S/he will provide guidance to the team members and mentor them towards successful execution. S/he will carry out analyses of engagements to drive continuous delivery improvements. S/he will derive and analyse trends and patterns for coming up with recommendations regarding course correction measures as needed. 


For InDev's partner organisations interested in impact investments and / or grants, s/he will carry out fund raising, networking, lead generation and proposal process management to help in this regard. S/he will assist in due diligence and preparation of investment memorandums and assist in management of the investments as appropriate.     


Tasks and Responsibilities: 

- P
rogram manage the projects and initiatives being implemented by InDev and / or InDev's client organisations

- Work with select partner institutions, 
defining and implementing the strategy and business model for for those institutions; 

- Develop and m
anage the relationships with the diverse stakeholders involved to ensure the long term sustainability of the solutions implemented by InDev; 

- L
ead the planning and forecasting for InDev's client engagements

- L
ead the implementation of the project activities and provide leadership to the team members in achieving the project objectives;

- Drive continuous delivery improvements

- Carry out business development for new client acquisitions and engagement wins.

- Do fund raising and networking.


Qualifications: 

- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred; 

- Preferred more than 8 years of overall experience, with more than 2 years of experience in social / development sector and / or consulting; 

- Demonstrated project management and program management skills; 

- Proficient with project management tools; 

- Proficient with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and similar documentation tools; 

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; 

- Fluency in English. Proficiency in multiple Indian languages strongly preferred; 

- Comfortable with frequent travel - up to 50% of the time.
