Institutional Strengthening - We are providing Institutional Strengthening services including business plan development, business process improvement, technology infrastructure definition, technical assistance, capacity building and ground-level implementation to a Banking Business Correspondent Company in Bihar, a Micro Finance Institution in Manipur, and a Rural Eye Care Provider in Assam.
Microfinance Infrastructure Platform: - We are helping our client organization to build a Microfinance Infrastructure platform for MFIs across the world.
- The platform addresses the common weaknesses, challenges, needs and business opportunities faced by Microfinance Institutions.
- The platform
provides a generic set of capabilities,
related core business, technology and specialised infrastructural Technical
Assistance services for the establishment and/or rapid growth and scaling up of
new or existing Microfinance Institutions on a cost efficient and
sustainable basis.
Dairy
Livelihood-based SHGs: - We are enabling 400+
SHGs and 2000+ farmers across Assam in North East India to get trained on dairy
farming and take up / carry on dairy farming with integration into the dairy
value chain ecosystem and appropriate market linkages.
Mobile
Technology based MFI Processes:- We enabled an MFI (Micro Finance Institution) in Bihar to implement processes and
technology that enable cashless loan payments and loan disbursements through a
mobile technology provider and the associated agent network.
- Project has started
with a pilot in Bihar and then will expand to other states / locations in India
– UP, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Delhi.
National Study of BC CSPs: - We carried out two annual studies of the effectiveness of the BC (Business Correspondent) CSP (Customer Service Point) model in the context of the Financial Inclusion objectives of the RBI.
- The study covered a nationally representative sample of 1,250 CSPs and 200 customers across 15 states with 15 banks participating in the survey.
MFI HR Compensation & Benefits Survey: - We program managed the pan-India MFI HR Compensation & Benefits Survey.
- Survey and workshop were sponsored by MFIN, the NBFC MFIs’ national sector body.
- 32 MFIs participated in the survey and were spread across the length and breadth of the country.
Monitoring and Evaluation: - We are carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation for programs and initiatives at social enterprises including a National Ambulance Services Provider and a Community-based Micro Healthcare Insurance Provider.
